We are very happy to announce that York Ceramics Fair 2026 will be again hosted at the iconic York Racecourse. This bright and open venue ensures ease of access and on-site parking for guests.
The Craft Potters Association always curates a strong line up and this year’s fair will once again offer a thoughtfully balanced mix of emerging talent and established artists, delighting a discerning audience with exceptional work. Alongside the main exhibition, enjoy an engaging programme of talks and demonstrations that enrich the experience.
The event is selected and run by and for the makers, and our aim is to provide an unpretentious and affordable platform that nonetheless showcases only the finest makers working in clay today. No commission is taken on sales, and this is a chance to buy directly from the maker and support the sector.
To ensure a comfortable visit, tickets are issued for entry either before or after 1pm, with unlimited time to explore once inside.
Under 16s enter free but still require a ticket.

Throughout the weekend we will feature a number of informal sessions where some of our exhibitors talk about and demonstrate techniques of importance in their work. Head over to the Demos and Talks page to see who will be demonstrating and when!
The demonstrations will take place on the first floor (up the stairs and turn right) and are included with your ticket – no need to book.
