I make functional pottery to invigorate the ceremony of eating and drinking. My pots are for use on the table and sideboard and for cooking and serving food and drink. All work is reduction fired using gas or wood kilns to create warm finishes on undecorated clean forms using a restricted palette of muted glazes derived from locally foraged glaze materials.
