Harriet Caslin

I am a ceramic artist based on the Essex coastline, working predominantly from cast porcelain. For as long as I have been making things with my hands I have been drawn to explore line, light, repetition and intrigue.
There is something subliminally pleasing to how these aspects speak to something beyond abstract thought. I am inspired to make work that evokes intrigue and touch, I find the process of creating such pieces to be a meditative and grounding practice in itself.

My collection includes decorative forms, pendant lighting and homeware.
