I am a ceramicist specialising in wheel-thrown porcelain. My practice includes hand-making a fine porcelain design range, lighting and unique objects. My approach is to make porcelain appear, paradoxically, to be fresh off the wheel, to balance softness with rigidity, and smoothness with weight, to create tactile, functional objects.
