Jo Walker

Working from my home studio in Fife, I make mainly wheel thrown functional ceramics. The clean and simple forms are decorated using my signature sgraffito technique. I use the clay as a canvas for both complex geometric patterns and simple botanical images. Striking visual contrast comes from the use of a shiny glaze against the matt, highly patterned areas.
